I’m a card person. With the exception of very few, I cannot (will not) throw cards away. To me, it’s like burning books. Or the flag. It seems criminal. This year on my birthday, a few very significant people remembered how highly I regard the lost art of letter writing. They gifted me with their writing, with their envelope licking, and with their sending.
